iOS 7 rumors of significant improvement, development delayed

A Branch chat has revealed that changes in the interface has delayed the iOS 7 development.

Engineers working on the future OS X 10.9 have been temporarily switched to iOS to meet deadlines.

Since Scott Forstall’s departure last November, Jonathan Ive, head of design at Apple, has been in control of the development of the iOS interface, in addition to OS X.
