Recent reports state that the Xbox 720 will need Internet to play games.
According to Kotaku, Xbox 720 “must have an active Internet connection to be used.”
“If there isn’t a connection, no games or apps can be started,” Kotaku’s source continued.
“If the connection is interrupted then after a period of time–currently three minutes, if I remember correctly–the game/app is suspended and the network troubleshooter started,” the insider added.
Rumored specifications for the next console include 8GB of RAM, an 8-core 1.6GHz processor and a 50GB 6x Blu-ray Disc drive.
