On Tuesday, Apple presented the financial results for its second quarter of fiscal year 2013, beginning late December 2012 to end-March 2013.
Tim Cook responded to questions from investors and regarding the arrival of new products he was very clear: there will be no new products announced before September.
Fortunately, the Apple CEO has said that his team had plenty of projects in the pipeline.
“Work we do to produce truly innovative products is very hard. Challenges that we’ll face in the future, but we’re working very closely with our manufacturing partners and we are executing a very exciting roadmap,” he said.
“We don’t want to be more specific, but we have some really great stuff coming in the fall and across all of 2014.”
Products that consumers expect are the ‘classic’ ones like the iPhone 5S, iPad 5 or Retina iPad Mini.
But Apple is also seeking new sources of revenue. The iWatch and iTV could emerge in the not-so-distant future.
