After being in the spotlight for excesses and a recent arrest, Amanda Bynes took issue with Rihanna on Twitter.

What is happening to Amanda Bynes? The young actress, whose future seemed so promising, entered a phase that looks like a descent into hell.

Amanda’s erratic behavior continues as she clashed with Rihanna on Twitter this Sunday.

“Chris Brown beat you because you’re not pretty enough,” she tweeted. “No one wants to be your lover so you call everyone and their mother.”

Rihanna replied, “Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?”

However, Bynes later wrote that the tweets were actually fake.

Here’s what she had to say: “I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I’m followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!”

Bynes is expected in court on July 9 and is currently on probation following a conviction for driving without a license.
