In an investors note released today the analyst claims component suppliers are gearing up for production and that a launch by the end of 2013 is “increasingly likely.”
Apple’s partners are reportedly expecting the company to give the green light to the manufacturing process.
“We believe iWatch is in a greater state of readiness, with the supply chain now waiting for the production go-ahead from Apple,” Yeung wrote. “We suspect the go/no-go decision will be made in June and are leaning toward a ‘go’ outcome at this time.”
Reports on an Apple smartwatch have been circulating for months.
Cupertino hasn’t officially commented on the arrival of an iWatch.
