According to Reuters, the company is thinking of launching of new iPhone models with a larger size than the iPhone 5, which has a 4-inch screen.
The newspaper said today that sources in Apple’s Asian supply chain said that Cupertino is currently testing two giant iPhone, with 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch displays.
The report shows that Apple could finally venture into the field of “phablets.”
The publication adds that a less expensive iPhone model could be released in late 2013.
Apple may also be prepared to abandon the traditional white and black models to offer its new cheaper smartphone in 5 or 6 colors.
