The China Times reports that some of Apple’s subcontractors have started shipping parts for the rumored device.
The report states that 28-nanometer processors are supplied by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing and Largan Precision is ensuring parts for the 8-megapixel camera.
Other suppliers include Foxconn, Taiflex Scientific, Texas Instruments and Chipbond, all of whom will be shipping a “large number” of components for the new iPhone.
Leaked parts for two unreleased iPhone have recently surfaced online and they showed a dock connector flex cable and a loudspeaker.
This budget smartphone is rumored to be available in several colors for a release date sometime in 2013.
