“She’s beautiful. She’s on tour and our schedules don’t allow us to be as close as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album,” the singer told USA Today at the time.

A source told Hollywood Life that a list of the tracks for the upcoming album doesn’t include the song with Rihanna.

The record producers stated that they want the hit to appear there, and really hope they can convince him, but Chris refused.

“Just saw the working tracklist for ‘X’ yesterday — Rihanna is not on there,” the source said.

“Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn’t allow the record to be released unless they took it off.”

The former couple’s fans definitely want to hear them sing together and the hit will likely be a real success, but unfortunately we can’t hear the single if rumors are true and the duet with Rihanna won’t be on the album.

We’ll find out on July 16 when Chris Brown’s sixth album “X” is set to be released.
