Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto married in a private ceremony in New York in April 2012.

Last year DeVitto got a small role in the flagship series of her future ex-husband and Wesley said he enjoyed sharing the set with Wesley.

Princess Diana wished to marry Pakistani surgeon, according to report

MARIO TESTINO/ VANITY FAIR

Prince George’s grandmother gracing the cover of the magazine coincides with the September release of “Diana”, the biopic with Naomi Watts embodying the loved princess.

The film covers the last two years of her life, her commitment against landmines and her relationship with the Pakistani heart surgeon, Dr. Hasnat Khan.

Diana’s close friend Jemima Khan, the former wife of Hasnat’s cousin Imran Khan, reveals that the princess was “crazy in love” with Khan.

“Diana was madly in love with Hasnat Khan and wanted to marry him, even if that meant living in Pakistan,” Jemima says.

She also claims Diana came to twice in Pakistan as a fundraiser for Imran’s hospital, but she took the opportunity to secretly discuss marriage with Hasnat.

“She wanted to know how hard it had been for me to adapt to life in Pakistan and she wanted advice on how to deal with Pakistani men and their cultural baggage,” Khan said.

The article also states that Diana spent time with Hasnat’s family in order to get his mother’s approval.

As Khan comments, “to marry an English girl is every conservative Pashtun mother’s worst nightmare.”

However, the Pakistani doctor found that he couldnt bear with the media attention such a relationship would have received.

“Hasnat was a decent, intensely private man from a traditional, conservative Pakistani family, and he was worried about how it would work,” Jemima says. “And he hated the thought of being in the glare of publicity for the rest of his life.”

After their relationship ended, friends told Vanity Fair that the love story Diana lived with billionaire Dodi Al Fayed was intended to make Hasnat jealous.

Simon Cowell to become a father for the first time

Instagram

The British producer and entrepreneur is about to start a family life with New York socialite Lauren Silverman, Us Weekly reports.

“She’s around 10 weeks along,” an insider revealed to the magazine.

Silverman, 36, is technically still married to a close friend of Cowell’s, real estate mogul Andrew Silverman, but a divorce is in the works.

“Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while,” a source told Us Weekly. “As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close.”

In the past, Cowell has confessed that he wasn’t very attracted to fatherhood.

“God, no. I couldn’t have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I’d go nuts,” he said back in 2009. “With kids, you’ve got a routine you can’t escape from. You’ve got to be up at a certain time. Got to listen. When all you want to do is sit in a corner thinking.”

However, he later softened his stance and appeared to have changed his mind about having kids.

“Well…yes,” he said in an interview with AOL Music. “And no. I do really, really like kids, because I can talk to them and listen to them. The problem has always been how much time you need to devote to bringing up kids. I’ve always dedicated all my life to work, and at 52, I’ve probably missed the opportunity.”

Interviewed in the latest issue of the British edition of Elle magazine, the Fireworks singer reacted to the publication of pictures of her and Robert Pattinson in the media.

The singer revealed that she had seen all the rumors about her relationship with Robert Pattinson, and she decided to contact Stewart.

“I sent her [Stewart] a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t–s,”‘ she told Elle.

Katy also opened up about her divorce from comedian Russell Brand, adding that she has lost interest in being with “challenging” men.

As for her breakup with John Mayer in February, she says the split made her realize she had some personal issues to deal with, saying, “He pulled away. That was a big hello for me.

“I realized I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have,” she continued. “You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another. In relationships, it was hard for me to speak up and set boundaries. I think a lot of that was to do with the fear of loss.”

Katy gushed about her friendship with Rihanna.

“I love her and every time I see her, I’m reminded of the light that she has,” she said.

“There’s a lot of dark in this business. I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages — they are the root of their demise. It’s really unfortunate but you can’t save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over.”

Jennifer Aniston on being happy and having a family

ALEXEI HAY/GLAMOUR

The actress sits down with her “We’re the Millers” costar, Jason Sudeikis, for the September issue of Glamour magazine.

The former Friends star opens up about her fiancé Justin Theroux and how she found happiness.

“Thirties. Thirties,” Jen said. “Go to therapy. Clean up all of the s–t. Clean up all of the toxins and the noise. Understand who you are. Educate yourself on the self.”

“You can undo a lot of things,” she continued. “If you’re not happy, you can become happy. Happiness is a choice. That’s the thing I really feel. Like with friends who refuse to get happy, who refuse to rise above the discomfort of where they’re at.”

ALEXEI HAY/GLAMOUR

“In the movie, your character is learning to access her parental instincts,” Sudeikis told Aniston about her role in the movie We’re the Millers. “I would argue women are better at that.”

“I think that’s just you! I know Justin, for instance, has extremely amazing paternal instincts,” she said of her fiancé Justin Theroux. “Because [growing up] he had to sort of become the parent. I think when you have to become the parent when you’re a younger person, you learn those instincts.”

“You actually deserve to have a family,” Aniston said. “And once you meet yourself, and truly love yourself, then you attract that. And look — I mean, the two of us have found these two, beautiful, loving, open people.”

For the rest of the interview, pick up the September issue of Glamour on newsstands Aug. 6.
