According to 9to5Mac, Apple had hired a team to work on the design of the iWatch.
The sensor-based fitness tech that Apple might integrate in the device could help in monitoring pulse rate, heartbeat, glucose and other chemical levels.
The team is led by Bob Mansfield, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Technologies Bob Mansfield, who has been spotted sporting a Fuel Band.
The report indicates that the wristwatch could feature some fitness-based features inspired by Nike’s Fuel Bands.
The development team is also made up of a number of experts in electronics coming from companies like AccuVein and C8 MediSensors.
