After a visit to China in January, Cook has now decided to once again meet with leaders of Chinese mobile carriers, according to a Chinese media report.

Cook is believed to have met with representatives of China Telecom in order to talk about the new campaign to promote the iPhone, given that sales of the device have dropped significantly in the last three months.

The iPhone 5S and the low-cost iPhone are also said to be brought into discussion by Cook, as he is set to meet with representatives of China Unicom and the largest mobile operator in the world, China Mobile.

China has been one of the most important markets for Apple, with billions of dollars coming from the country.
