iPhone 5S rumors: Foxconn said to hire 90,000 workers for production of next iPhone

Taiwanese publication Focus Taiwan reports that Foxconn will begin the process of hiring about 90,000 new employees, which will act on the production lines of the iPhone 5S.

Much of the new employees will work in the industrial zone of Foxconn in Shenzhen, China.

The company will be responsible for assembling the iPhone 5S, while Pegatron, another Apple partner, is responsible for the production of the low-cost iPhone model.

In order to cope with new orders, Pegatron increased its staff by 40%, adding 40,000 people to its previous state.

According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 5S will feature an A6 processor, a 12-megapixel camera with dual LED lights, improved graphics and 2GB of RAM.
