iPhone 5S vs. iPhone 5 – front panel comparison

The main change implemented by Apple in the front panel of the iPhone 5S is an elongation of the cable that connects to the logic board for power and data.

The position of the screws was slightly changed in the new iPhone but the rest of the component remains the same.

The housing for the Home button doesn’t appear to have any changes, despite reports that a fingerprint reader may be included in the component.

The outside appearance of the part seems identical to the iPhone 5, with the FaceTime camera located above the earpiece.
