According to Chinese site VR-ZONE, the new team will work on future iPhones and other Apple products.

Several positions are available, experienced and junior-level engineers are listed, as well as management positions.

A research and development center in Taiwan seems like a logical move for Apple. A few weeks ago, the company signed a contract with TSMC, which is also located on-site, to produce custom A-series chips from 2014.

Cupertino is said to be attempting to hire through word of mouth, instead of using formal job ads.
