Titled ‘Who You Love,’ the song is a track off Mayer’s new album “Paradise Valley,” which is set to be unveiled on August 20, and it has made its appearance on the canvas sooner than expected.

“My boy ain’t the one that I saw coming,” Katy sings. “Some have said his heart’s to hard to hold. It takes a little time, but you should see him when he shines. Because you’ll never want to let the feeling go.”

At the end of the track, Perry can be heard giggling and the singer explained the moment in an interview with The Morning Mash Up live on SiriusXM Hits 1.

“I think that’s just a love giggle,” she said. “It’s like the ones that Mariah Carey had in 1990 and stuff like that. Yeah I think I was going for that, I think I was just so happy… I love that song, you guys will hear it soon, all you listeners.”

Katy Perry is also currently promoting her new single, “Roar” , released two days ago.
