In a note to investors, Citi Research analyst Glen Yeung speculates that the iPhone 6 will land in the first half of 2014.
In addition, the iPhone 6 is viewed as the next important smartphone that Apple will use to make a transition to larger screens.
Yeung speculates that Apple could implement a screen of up to 5 inches in the device, and the company is currently testing various prototypes.
As for the iWatch, the gadget could reach the market by the end of this year, he says.
“As we have written in the past, we expect Apple to launch a larger-screen version of iPhone (dubbed iPhone 6) in 1H14 [first half 2014]. We also anticipate the launch of iWatch, possibly in 2H13,” the analyst wrote.
