The CFO of NTT DoCoMo has hinted at the possibility that the company will soon include Apple’s iPhone in its catalog.
“It would be difficult to starts sales on the 10th,” Tsubouchi said in an interview with Japan’s Sankei Shimbun.
The executive was referring to the rumored September 10 launch date, the day Apple may release its next flagship smartphones.
“Docomo is ready but timing is the problem,” he explained.
Last week Japan’s Nikkei reported said that SoftBank and KDDI will take care of sales of the iPhone 5S and 5C starting on September 20.
