iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C release: Apple sends out September 10 invitations

On Tuesday the company sent out an official invitation to an “event” scheduled for September 10 in which the new versions of the iPhone could be presented.

The event will take place in Cupertino and not in the conventional center in San Francisco that was traditionally used for keynotes by Apple.

A design composed of colored bubbles surround the Apple logo on the invitations, accompanied by a message that reads, “This should enlighten the day of everyone.”

The colors of the circles may correspond to those of the iPhone 5C which has been rumored to come in a variety of color options.

The iPhone 5S is expected to remain substantially the same as its predecessor but with a few upgrades including an improved camera and processor, as well a possible fingerprint reader.

It may also be available in two extra color options, namely champagne gold and graphite.

The iPhone 5C is wont be a novelty in terms of design or components. The device will be equipped with a plastic shell and it will be aimed at emerging markets.
