The iPhone 5S models presented in Apple Stores will be entitled to a specific application to test the Touch ID feature, 9to5Mac reports.
Specifically, customers will be invited to place their finger on the Home button. Once the feature is set, they will then be invited to put another finger whose fingerprint has not been recorded, to demonstrate that the scanner refuses authentication.
The app will automatically reset after each demonstration.
The mechanism of reading fingerprints can unlock the iPhone and authenticate purchases on the iTunes Store. The Apple Touch ID can store up to 5 different fingerprints.
