Korean daily Hankyung reports that most of the chip manufacturing will be assigned to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC).

The publication writes that TSMC will be given the task of producing up to 70% of the A8 processors and the rest will be given to Samsung.

In June the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple had signed an agreement with TSMC for the production of microchips starting from 2014 but that Samsung would remain the main supplier for next year.
