Medical records show that the interpreter of Finn Hudson in “Glee” combined champagne with drugs.

Besides two empty bottles of champagne, there was also a “spoon with drug residue and a used hypodermic needle.”

The coroner revealed that because of periods of abstinence (Cory had tried to put an end to his addiction by checking into rehab) his body had a low tolerance to substance abuse, and the combined use of drugs and alcohol triggered his death.

A special episode of “Glee” dedicated to the memory of Monteith will be released on October 10 in the fifth season of the show.
