According to data gathered by mobile app analytics company Crittercism, apps on the new the iPhone 5S “crash about two percent on the iPhone 5s, as compared to just under one percent on both the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5.”

Crittercism CEO Andrew Levy believes that this may be caused by the fact that app developers didn’t have access to iOS 7 or to the hardware on the new iPhone.

Developers were allowed to submit 64-bit apps for the 5S merely four days ahead of the smartphone’s launch on September 20.

The budget iPhone 5C is based on the same hardware from the iPhone 5, and its performance is basically the same.
