LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian address divorce rumors, talk babies

The couple will soon star in a new VH1 reality show based on their lives and in a recent interview with Extra they talked about babies and rumors.

“We work on it often,” Rimes said about the prospect of motherhood.

“She wants a little girl, badly,” Cibrian chimed in.

Next month the country singer’s deal with Curb Records comes to an end and she wants to set her next career move before embarking on a new mission in her personal life.

“That was my original baby,” she said.

The pair also addressed recent allegations that claimed they were heading for a $50 million divorce.

“It was just so ludicrous,” the actor, 40, said. “It said something to the effect like I would text [ex-wife Brandi Glanville] all the time whenever Leann and I are having a fight or something like that, and you know, that’s not true.”

“I lock myself in closets when I’m drunk,” LeAnn joked.

As for their VH1 series, called LeAnn & Eddie, the couple says it offers a taste of their real life.

“A lot of people assume that they know who we are because of what they read in the tabloids and all that fodder,” Cibrian explained.

“And we wanted to give them a glimpse into the opposite side of all of that, into our personality.”
