The name of the man the sexiest man on the planet will be revealed in a week, but the winner seems to be already known.

Rumor has it that Adam Levine will be the one to get the honor this year.

If true, Adam would succeed a great bunch of male stars. Last year the magazine chose Channing Tatum as the Sexiest Man Alive, in 2011 it was Bradley Cooper who got the title and in 2010 Ryan Reynolds received this honor.

Asked by Today cohost Savannah Guthrie about the possibility that he may top People’s list in an interview on Friday, Levine played coy, saying “I don’t believe you,” before adding, “It’s an interesting idea.”

Guthrie also asked if it would be a “good resume builder,” to which Levine replied, “Noooo.”

“No,” he said again. “It would be a lot of things. It’s an interesting idea. I don’t know.”

Recently engaged to Namibian model Behati Prinsloo, the 34-year-old said they have yet to set a date.

“We have a kind of ish time. There’s no actual date,” he revealed.

Adam also opened up about his relationship with fellow The Voice judges, and rejected rumors they are enemies in real life.

“We never really got irritated with each other. It was more kind of like, we get competitive. We’re all competitive, but it’s all in a friendly way. There’s no actual animosity,” he said.

As for tensions that something arise between him and Blake Shelton, he says it’s all ok and that it doesn’t extend to real life.

“I’m not fighting with Blake. We’re friends. It’s all good. We’re just messing with each other to that degree because we’re so close,” he said.
