The percentage is higher when it comes to the two largest carriers. AT&T has 99% of iPhone 5S units available, while Verizon scores 98% of available devices.
By contrast, this year’s figures reveal a 0.8% improvement from the numbers recorded by the iPhone 5.
Shipping times have also improved for the iPhone 5S as orders for the handset on Apple’s website to 3 to 5 days on November 19. Previous ship times were estimated at three to four weeks.
This could be an indicator that Cupertino is finally catching up with demand.
“We view the improvement in supply as an encouraging sign that Apple has begun to catch up to demand,” Munster wrote. “We continue to believe that Apple will reach supply-demand equilibrium by early December.”
