Japanese Web site EMSOne claims that Taiwanese company Catcher produced for Samsung 10-30 million metal housings for the Galaxy S5.

Besides Catcher, metal housings for the new flagship smartphone will be manufactured by Chinese company BYD and Taiwanese enterprise Ju Teng.

Recent rumors about the device claimed that it will be developed in 2 variants: a plastic shell with a traditional design, and a monolithic metal design.

Galaxy S5 is expected to feature a 5-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of up to 560ppi, a 64-bit eight-core Exynos processor, a 16-megapixel camera, 3GB RAM and a 4000mAh battery.
