A report by Korean site ETNews claims that Samsung plans to launch five new smartphones in the first quarter of 2014.
The devices will include entry-level to high-end hardware and the Galaxy S5 is said to be the flagship handset.
The site also reported that the Galaxy Note 3 Lite, a Galaxy Grand Lite and two entry-level Android devices will be released by Samsung between January and March.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to come with a 64-bit eight-core Exynos processor, a 16-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and a 4,000 mAh battery.
The handset is also rumored to be available in two variants: one with a plastic design and another with a new unibody metal body.
