Taiwanese website Digitimes claims that the iPhone 6 could be launched in May 2014, which is earlier than September, a month usually chosen by Apple to offer its new models.

The report adds that the device may use “a 20nm processor manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.”

The website writes that the smartphone is expected to be equipped with a larger screen, probably bigger than 5 inches, which is much larger than the current iPhone, but not quite as big as the Galaxy Note 3.

Digitmes also reports that Apple is preparing to offer a brand new iPad with a screen of 12.9 inches, with a release date slated for October 2014.
