According to Chinese publication Huanqiu (via Yahoo Japan), Apple might be planning to launch its iPhone phablets separately from the iPhone 6 in May.

The next-generation iPhone is expected to launch in September this year.

The iPhone phablets are rumored to feature screens that are larger than 5 inches and a 20 nanometer processor manufactured by TSMC.

The processor could be either a new A8 CPU or a redesigned A7 chip.

South Korean publication ET News claims that the iPhone 6 will be significantly thinner than the previous generation model.
