According to Korean website ET News, the new iPhone will be called “iPhone Air,” and its thickness won’t exceed 6 mm. By contrast the current iPhone 5S measures 7.6 mm.
The report explains that one of the reasons the device could be thinner is all that it will bring a larger screen, so there will be more space for internal components.
The site also writes that the iPhone 6 will once again be made of metal, but according to the source, it might be a bit heavier than the iPhone 5S.
The release date of the handset is claimed to be set for September this year.
