Samsung Galaxy S5 specs chart suggests fingerprint sensor, 32-bit processor – analyst

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has come up with a draft table of the possible specifications of the Galaxy S5.

The analyst sees the presence of a fingerprint reader possible, dismissing rumors about the implementation of a scanner iris eye in the device.

“Fingerprint is necessary for a star model,” Kuo says. “Because Apple’s iPhone 5S and HTC’s One Max have fingerprint, S5 the star model can’t lack the function even [if] the solution (area type same as iPhone 5S’s provided by Validity) is not as mature as iPhone 5S’s.”

Also, he believes the device would be available in two versions. One would be equipped with either a quad-core Qualcomm MS M 8974AC, while the other could be powered by an 8-core Samsung Exynos 5422 processor.

The difference between the Prime and the Standard models lies at the screen. Both versions feature a 5.2-inch display, but the resolution is different.

According to recent rumors, Samsung could unveil the Galaxy S5 in March.
