Posted on an anonymous Twitter account which shows no other updates, the pictures were then taken over by MacRumors, and some of these images were also posted by Australian journalist Sonny Dickson who claimed that they were made public by a person in China.
The images confirm the rumors about a larger screen and the edge-to-edge display.
The iPhone 6 is expected to be released in September. It could be available in two versions, with two different screen sizes.
Update: various sites write that the images have been classified as fake and that they are 3D renders, and not photographs of leaked parts.
In addition, the texture, which resembles a plastic protective film stuck on the device, is the same on both sides of the device.
