China Times claims that Apple’s rumored smartwatch could contain flexible AMOLED screens from Taiwanese manufacturer TPK.

The displays will be a combination of an AMOLED screen, 3D protective glass and silver nanowire touch screen technology developed by Japanese Nissha Printing, which is also specialized in making devices with touch input.

Mass production for the screens is reportedly scheduled for the second half of 2014.

TPK is known to be one of the largest manufacturers of touch screens and a major panel supplier for Apple.
