The Korean company has been rumored lately to be planning the release of two Galaxy S5 models: a standard version and a premium variant.
This information was reportedly confirmed on Wednesday by an unnamed Korean industry cited by OLED-Display.net.
The standard model is said to come with a full HD display, whereas the premium version will pack a 2K screen with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
Due to issues in the production of the higher-resolution 2K display, the Galaxy S5 is set to launch in March, while the premium device could arrive on the market “a few months later,” the report added.
A recent leaked document from Vodafone also hints at the existence of a golden version of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
