Robin Thicke held a concert at the Patriot Center in Virginia on Thursday night.
The “Blurred Lines” singer couldn’t help but share his distress about his separation from wife Paula Patton.
“For those of you who don’t know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago, and I want everybody here to know that I’m trying to get my girl back,” Thicke said before dedicating the song “Lost Without U” to Patton.
“I’m going to need you guys to help me through this,” he added, clearly emotional.
“He even messed up on some of the words because he was crying,” concertgoer Mandy Vazquez told People.
Thicke, 36, and Patton, 38, announced they were splitting after an 8-year marriage and more than 20 years together.
