iPhone 6 rumors: next iSight camera will keep 8-megapixel sensor, source says

A user of Chinese microblogging site Weibo [via GforGames] said that in the iPhone 6 will have the same 8-megapixel iSight camera as its predecessor.

The device’s rear camera is said to feature a 1/2.66’’ sensor and an aperture size of f/2.0, as well as OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and 6P sapphire lens.

The source also said that Sony will produce a CMOS sensor, and other components will be manufactured by LG and Sharp.

However, this is only a rumor as there is no confirmation from Apple yet.
