Based on recent speculation about the device, British designer Sam Beckett has created a smartphone that has a chance to become reality.
The new phone could be called iPhone Air and it may be thinner but wider. Beckett chose this name as he made the concept 7 mm thick, which is 0.6 mm smaller than the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S, but also 8% larger than its predecessor.
This iPhone concept has a 4.7-inch sapphire crystal display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, with 468 pixel-per-inch (PPI).
“Some extra space could be potentially utilized by reducing the width of the side bezels and by also slimming down the top and bottom of the phone frame too,” the designer wrote on The Verge forums.
The photo sensor is upgraded from 8 to 10 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.8.
Other features include an A8 chip and a fingerprint sensor.
