ESM-China’s news chief analyst Sun Chang Xu [via G for Games] cites sources who claim the iPhone 6 is set to come with new features in the “sensors department.”
More precisely, the handset could come with pressure, temperature and humidity sensors.
G for Games notes that the news comes as no surprise since Cupertino is rumored to introduce support for various sensors with the iOS 8.
This year the company is expected to enter the fitness and health market with the integration of health and fitness monitoring features.
The new operating system is expected to include “Healthbook” that will be able to monitor the user’s blood pressure, heart rate, calories burned, hydration and glucose levels, among other things.
