The blogger is known to be the source of revelations about Apple products before they were made official by the company.
Dickson wrote on Twitter that the next-generation iPhone will have a thickness of only 5.5 mm against 7.6 mm for the iPhone 5/5S.
In addition, the device’s screen will be equipped with Ultra-Retina technology with a pixel density of 389 pixels per inch (ppi).
Finally, the handset will pack an A8 processor which is expected to reach 2.6 GHz and feature a whole new architecture.
“These specs could be the real thing,” Dickson added.
A report by PhoneArena noted that a 4.7-inch display at 389 ppi with a resolution between 720p (HD) and 1080p (Full HD) will be among the next iPhone’s features.
The report adds that a bigger 5.7-inch iPhone could be launched, with both devices powered by iOS 8.
