According to a new report by the Commercial Times, Pegatron, one of Apple’s suppliers, is weeks away from starting production of the future iPhone.
The manufacturer is in the process of recruitment and is opening a new production plant in China.
The company is responsible for half of the next-generation iPhone production. The other primary manufacturer of the device is said to be Foxconn.
Details about the smartphone’s launch, the number of units Pegatron will manufacture, or how many workers they are hiring weren’t mentioned in the report.
