The 2014 edition of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held at Moscone West in San Francisco from June 2 to 6.
For the first time, the tickets will be issued to attendees by lottery. Requests can be made starting today until Monday, April 7.
In order to participate, developers have to be members of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or Mac Developer Program.
“We have the most amazing developer community in the world and have a great week planned for them,” Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller said. “Every year the WWDC audience becomes more diverse, with developers from almost every discipline you can imagine and coming from every corner of the globe. We look forward to sharing with them our latest advances in iOS and OS X so they can create the next generation of great apps.”
Apple also offers free 200 places for student scholarships.
