According to the survey, a total of 40% of consumers do not mind changing their product on a new iPhone with a larger screen, a more powerful processor and updated iOS.
Of the 4,109 respondents who plan to buy a mobile in the next three months, 26% said they were “somewhat likely” to buy iPhone 6, while 14% went further by saying they were “very likely” to buy it.
The next-generation iPhone 6 is expected to come with “a larger screen size, gesture control, a faster processor, an updated iOS operating system” and a starting price of $199 for a 2-year contract.
The main reason cited for this increased interest in the iPhone 6 is the arrival of a larger screen.
Apple is expected to release two models of the iPhone 6: one will get a 4.7-inch screen, the other – a 5.5-inch.
