Bloomberg reports that Apple is in talks with the developers of the application to integrate their music recognition system directly into the iOS 8.
As with Twitter, a partnership could help to add this feature to Cupertino’s next operating system.
This would make it easier for iPhone and iPad users to identify songs without having to download separate applications, for example through Siri.
Shazam would allow the recognition of a song and grant access to the title or album from the iTunes Store.
Apple is expected to unveil the first information about the iOS 8 at WWDC in June.
