According to a report by Taiwan’s Industrial and Commercial Times (via Mac Otakara), Pegatron has received an order for the production of 15% of the total 4.7-inch iPhone 6 production.

The report adds that the company will produce this year a total of 50 million iPhones, including the iPhone 6, iPhone 5C and iPhone 4S.

However, the news contradicts previous reports from January which claimed that Pegatron had received half of the orders for the iPhone 6, with the other half being entrusted to Foxconn.

Another report last month noted that Pegatron was set to start manufacturing the future iPhone in Q2.

Apple is expected to launch two versions of the iPhone: a 4.7-inch model, rumored to be launch in the fall, and a 5.5-inch phablet available towards the end of the year.
