iOS 8 and OS X banners hung at Moscone for WWDC 2014

The first banners on the two main launches of WWDC 2014 – the OS X 10.10 and iOS 8 – have appeared inside the Moscone Center venue.

Photos of the iOS 8 banner posted on Twitter by BusinessInsider’s Jay Yarow and MacStories show the new version of the operating system labeled with the number “8” on a sea background.

In the case of the OS X, the background of the banner shows the El Capitan rock formation from Yosemite National Park in California.

iOS 8 is expected to be an improved version of iOS 7, with new arrivals including Healthbook, TextEdit and Preview applications.
