Her boyfriend Jack Antonoff opens up to New York Magazine about how he met Girls creator Lena Dunham, marriage and having kids.
“It was a blind date by modern standards. I mean, I used the Internet,” he said. “I told Lena everything about my whole life, because when you really like someone, you want them to know everything about you.”
Even if they are so in love and so close, the couple, who started dating in 2012, does not hurry to get married any time soon.
“I think all people in relationships that last longer than a year start talking about that stuff,” he said of getting married.
“It’s hard to imagine when the right time is because things are so crazy at the moment,” he added.
But he has a different opinion about becoming father.
“It just seems like the most fun thing in the world. I’ve never met people who have kids who haven’t looked me in the eye and been like, ‘It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened.’ I think it’s biological. I’m 30. I’m not that young, right? I’m not, like, 24 or 22. I’m no longer in the phase of my life where I talk about everything as in the future. Like, I’m in the future.”
