A new report from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo obtained by AppleInsider speculates on the optical stabilization of the next two iPhones.
According to him, this feature will be reserved to the 5.5-inch model, and not the 4.7-inch variant which should simply have another type of stabilizer.
An OIS system helps to avoid the effects of blur associated with tremor and movement in a photo or video capture.
The optical image stabilizer for the 5.5-inch iPhone will be produced by InvenSense and it should serve as a distinguishing feature for the smaller iPhone 6.
Regarding the 4.7-inch device, Kuo believes it will be improved with a lens module that offers increased focus speed and less energy consumption.
