Investment firm RBC Capital Markets conducted a 4,000 person survey on the expected demand for Apple’s next-generation iPhone.
The survey found that nearly 50% of the respondents plan to replace the phone they currently use with a new iPhone within the next three months.
35% of users who have no intention of buying an iPhone have admitted that they prefer Android devices with larger screens.
In addition, 75% of those interviewed know that Apple will announce an iPhone 6 this year.
As many as 26% of respondents said they were willing to pay an extra $100 for the iPhone with a screen size of 5.5 inches.
Finally, what most consumers want the new iPhone to have is improved battery life, followed by a significant increase in the screen.
