iPad Air 2 mockups show Touch ID, slimmer frame

Japanese site ASCII Plus [via GforGames] presented a mockup of the iPad Air 2, reflecting some changes compared to the current iPad.

At first glance the dummy appears at least 1 mm thinner, while keeping a similar look with beveled edges.

Other features include the integration of the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and also the absence of the lock switch.

In addition, the buttons volumes look more rounded and even embedded in the body of the tablet.

However, all these changes should only be regarded as unconfirmed rumors for now.
