YouTube user Marques Brownlee decided to put the sapphire display to the test again, by bending and scratching it.
In the 5-minute video he uses a knife and keys on the front panel, but the glass remains impeccable.
The glass is stabbed repeatedly with the knife and even bent to an angle of 90 degrees.
Interestingly, Brownlee claims that the screen in the video actually belongs to a 4.7-inch iPhone, contradicting rumors that the material will only be used on the 5.5-inch version.
A video shared by Sonny Dickson earlier this week also tested the new sapphire screen for the next iPhone and its capacity to resist external aggression.
